We are Martyn, Jen & Jet Nichol, a husband, wife & dog team.
Martyn has been in the antique trade as a hobby for as long as he can remember, being an avid collector of all things interesting, specialising in old glass and Victorian bottles. He then turned that hobby into a business in 2009.
Jen joined him in 2012, bringing with her a love of all things that sparkle and a feminine touch to the antique stock.
Previously we successfully ran a local antique fair in The Greenhill Hotel and had space in other local antique centres. Then in November 2016 we opened our own little treasure trove in the heart of the historic city of Carlisle: Cathedral Lodge Antiques.
In our shop, we have a huge variety of items over two floors, from Victorian and Georgian furniture right up to 1970’s ceramic and glass collectables. We really do have something for everyone, more importantly at sensible prices!
We buy and sell Antiques & Collectables. We are happy to assist in Probate and House Clearances.
We buy Scrap Gold & Silver, Medals, Coins or anything interesting!
